The Shackles of Slavery: Part 4

(Editor's note: Following are excerpts from Mujeddid Wallace Deen Muhammad's "humorous exorcism" delivered at Malcolm X College in Chicago, Nov. 30, 1978 - Continued from last week.)

All praise is due to Almighty God, the guardian evolver and sustainer of all the worlds. The blessings and peace be upon Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah to us all.

O  Allah, guide us, forgive us our faults, and grant us the blessings of faith. I bear witness there is no deity except Allah and I bear witness Muhammad is His Servant and His Messenger. Peace be upon him, his descendants, his companions, the righteous servants, all of them, and upon us in America and throughout the world:

I want to bring something to your mind. I take the position that the whole world is under one power — one conspirator force. Every part of the whole world except the Quran. Even the Hadiths have been touched by their conspiracy. Even the commentary of the Quran has been touched by their conspiracy. The only thing that has not been touched by this conspiracy is the word that God revealed to Prophet Muhammad.

The comments on it by the scholars, everything has been touched but the very words themselves.

God says in the Quran, "They will not touch these words," and they haven't touched them yet. But everything else, they have touched in one degree or another.

In the Bible, the book called Jeremiah mentions backsliding in Israel. Do you understand what backsliding is? It's coming down the sliding board. Like the sliding boards we play with in the parks. That's backsliding. You slide on your back. The board is supposed to be silver, representing a pretense at virtues and moral purity. You have to go up but it's slick, very difficult to climb. You go up by using the steps — Jacob's steps. You go up and when you get there, you take a free fall. Let it all hang out. "Thank you Jesus!" When you end up, you're in the dust. God said to the serpent, "Bite the dust."

You can think I'm playing if you want to. Your life depends on taking me seriously.

The book says that they were backsliding in Israel. They were using moral teaching and virtuous teachings, and holiness as a trick. That's what backsliding is.

"It has gone up upon every high mountain." That means on every powerful government. A high mountain means a powerful government. Religious government, secular government, political government, it doesn't make any difference. The mountain means a controlling power, a controlling office, a controlling body of government.

Allah says in the Quran that if He hadn't placed mountains firm on the Earth, the Earth would have shook with us. This means you need government to keep the society stable.

Scripture also says a day is coming when God is going to erode the mountains into the valley and make the whole Earth level with no crookedness in it.

The Quran says the same thing. It means a time is coming when you won't have to depend upon a government body to save you from being fickle and unstable. That God will give you knowledge from his knowledge and the individual will then be able to govern himself without shaking or messing up the society.

What does the Hadith of Prophet Muhammad say regarding this? It says that every man and woman is a ruler.

God has created every individual to be a ruler. It says God is going to question you as to how you discharged the power of that office. How you treated yourself, how you treated your parents, how you treated your children. How you treated your property.

How you treated everything, because God says everything has been created with dignity, meaning that everything in this creation deserves respect. Respect a grain of sand, respect a grain of sugar, respect everything, and your intelligence will be elevated.

Now let us look at the name "ball." It's a corruption of the word "Baal" in the Bible. They're pronounced the same.

What does ball mean? Ball is something round. But you don't refer to everything that is round as ball. A ball should bounce.

God says, "Think." He says thinking on God is the greatest power in creation. "Surely the greatest power in creation, the greatest force there is, is the thinking upon God."

Why doesn't this force work for us? Because you're not thinking on God. You're thinking on a lie. God is not ball. God is the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth and everything therein. That's God. Not Ball. So why worship ball?

"We're not worshipping ball" (you say). Yes you are. You worship flesh.

The Trinitarian doctrine is designed to bypass your senses and get into your emotions without your senses awakening to what's happening, then they tell you flesh is sinful. Flesh is not sinful. The only thing wrong with flesh is that it rolls and bounces and can't walk. Nothing sinful about that. It just needs a little help—some legs.

Alright, they say that man is born in sin because flesh is sinful. That was the fall of Adam, the first parent. He was made of flesh so he couldn't stand up. He had to be made over again of spirits.

Jesus was not made of flesh because no man germ touched his mother. It was a spirit called the Holy Ghost that touched his mother. One version says that the Holy Ghost overpowered her, and another version says the Holy Ghost overshadowed her and she became pregnant.

So, a child had to be born of spirit to save us from flesh because flesh was unsavable, unredeemable, according to their philosophy.

Now one comes who is not of flesh. I want to know what was Mary. Was she also a Holy Ghost? They tell us she's flesh so he (Jesus) was born of flesh if he was born of Mary.

The male germ doesn't give the child its form independent of his mother. The mother's body feeds that germ and the mother's body grows that small germ from blood clot into muscles, bones and a full body. Then she presents us with what she produced — Mary's baby. Flesh of Mary's flesh.

Am I making sense? Do I make more sense than the devil who taught you? Alright then, follow us and don't follow the devil.
